Udekom Balkans is a dynamic non-governmental and non-profit organization, established in 2014 with a mission to foster the growth of scientific knowledge within the Balkan region and beyond. Our primary objectives include advancing the fields of management and economics, as well as providing educational resources to our members and the wider public.

Who We Are: Our members include esteemed university professors from various scientific disciplines, postgraduate students, and experts from ministries, public administrations, private and public enterprises, multinational corporations, associations, and similar organizations.

Building Bridges Together: Over the course of ten years since our establishment, the Association of Economists and Managers of the Balkans has established impactful partnerships with more than 1,000 diverse institutions across the Balkans region and worldwide.

Beyond its academic legacy, the University of Oxfo Beyond its academic legacy, the University of Oxford is part of popular culture and global leadership history. Parts of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone were filmed in Oxford. The Divinity School and Christ Church inspired scenes of Hogwarts, linking the university to one of the most recognized film series worldwide. Oxford alumni (often called “Oxonians”) include more than 30 British Prime Ministers, among them Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair, as well as leading scientists such as Stephen Hawking. Oxford represents not only history but also influence across politics, science, culture, and global governance. In March 2026, #EMAN celebrates its 10th anniversary edition at Oxford. At UdEkom Balkans, membership is not a requirement At UdEkom Balkans, membership is not a requirement for participation in our conferences, workshops, or academic activities. We believe that access to academic dialogue, research exchange, and professional development should remain open and inclusive. As a result, our regular and extended network of researchers, contributors, reviewers, keynote speakers, and participants is estimated at approximately 3,000 individuals in 2025 only. This network has grown organically through: • Five international conferences, • Research collaborations, • Scientific and program committee engagement, • Publication initiatives, and similar. Our focus remains on quality, academic standards, and long-term collaboration, not formal barriers to participation. Our MOU with the Academy of Management is now in effect. The Academy will serve as a strategic partner of the Association of Economists and Managers of the Balkans - Udekom Balkans in the forthcoming years. And I have to say this openly.
