Albana Boriçi has completed Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Economy, University Luigj Gurakuqi Shkodër, in July 1999. Achieved an MBA (Master in Business Administration) degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, USA, in December 2002. Earned a PhD in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana, in June 2009, and was granted the academic title of Associate Professor in July 2015. Currently serving as Vice Dean in the Faculty of Economy, University Luigj Gurakuqi, Shkodër, specializing in International Business. Acting as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economy in various foreign higher education institutions, including the University of Vienna (Austria), University of Krakow (Poland), Corvinus University (Hungary), Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia) and University of Podgorica (Montenegro). Currently a guest lecturer at Epoka University and a trainer/coach in the CSL leadership program for current and aspiring managers in pre-university education institutions. Participated in several projects as a team member, such as the TEMPUS CHTMBAL project, EUREQA, FOST-INNO, FINAC, MARDS project, and USIA project, funded by TEMPUS or ERASMUS+ programs. Also contributed to the working group of the project Curricula Development of the study program Master of Sciences in Healthcare Management, financed by AADF as part of the READ program.

Engaged in numerous qualifications and scientific research initiatives across various European universities and institutions, including the University of Bologna, Chieti, and Rimini in Italy; University of Applied Sciences of Eberswalde, University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel, ACEEU (Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities), Munster, in Germany; University of Graz and Vienna in Austria; University of Porto in Portugal; Masaryk University, Brno, Czechia; University of Split in Croatia, and others.

Demonstrates an active and inclusive academic presence with approximately 42 scientific works, encompassing conference participations and publications, focusing on economic issues, particularly in the field of international business management.
